Dr. Carberry grew up in Sanford, NC and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2010. She stayed close to her Tar Heel roots by graduating from UNC School of Dentistry. Following her graduation in 2014, Dr. Carberry left for an adventure on the West Coast, where she had an opportunity to complete her General Practice Residency at the San Francisco VA Hospital. After spending a few wonderful years in California, Dr. Carberry moved back to North Carolina in 2017 to work at Charlotte Dentistry.
Dr. Carberry was drawn to dentistry at an early age. She loves that it is a combination of surgery and art. She listens to her patients and gives them her full attention, then thoroughly explains procedures and treatment plans. Giving back to her community is important to her. She regularly volunteers at local free clinics and participated in a dental mission trip to Nepal. She is a member of a Spear Study Club and the Charlotte Dental Society.
Dr. Carberry met her husband in California, and together they enjoy spending time with their daughter and their dog. The family loves outdoor adventures, especially hiking and kayaking. Dr. Carberry also enjoys practicing yoga and cooking paleo meals (and the occasional sweet treat).
