Dr. Jonathan Eshleman was drawn to a career in health care as early as first grade. This, along with a love of working with his hands, appreciation for the artistic aspect of dentistry, and a desire to serve people, made dentistry a perfect career choice.

Growing up in Fayetteville, Dr. Christopher Watson had a close relationship with his grandfather, a dentist. When it came time for college, he decided to become a dentist. He knew it would be a career where he could make a difference and use his artistic talents.

Dr. Tara Woodroof has served patients at Charlotte Dentistry since 2010. She loves working in a group practice where the dentists come together to share knowledge and support one another. She is always learning more about her profession and her patients.

Dr. Eric Wolfinger grew up in Massilon, OH and attended Brown University for his undergraduate studies. A premed student, he did a career shadow with a dentist after receiving a root canal from him and decided to become a dentist instead.

North Carolina native Dr. Elliott Burns followed his dentist father into the field. A job placement test he took in high school revealed that a dentist was his best career match. He enjoys improving patients’ smiles through restorative dentistry and orthodontics.

Dr. Heather Dowlin loves to help ease common dental fears. With her gentle chairside manner, patients can be comfortable during their treatment. She has a passion for cosmetic dentistry, restoring dental implants, and treating children.

During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Wade McPhaul was introduced to dentistry – a career that combined his love of science and God’s creation with his desire to help others. His patients often comment on how gentle, comforting, and genuinely caring he is.

Dr. Kristen Bryson worked in the dental field before entering dental school, so she has been involved with dentistry for almost 20 years. She enjoys getting to know our patients and their families. She always treats them with honesty, compassion, and friendliness.

Patients appreciate how Dr. Marvin Domondon tells them everything that is happening during their treatment, so they never experience any unpleasant surprises. As a general dentist, he likes providing a wide variety of services to help patients in any way possible.

Dr. Joseph Shirley loves to connect with patients on a personal level. He has a passion for helping people of all ages improve their oral health, preserve their teeth for a lifetime, and achieve the best possible smile. Patients appreciate his attention to detail and calming demeanor.
